You need to connect this remote sensor to your set-top box by using a USB mini port. This external remote sensor is not compatible with all set-top boxes because for connectivity your set-top box should have a USB mini port for the external IR sensor.

Before ordering this product, you must check your set-top box that you have a USB mini port or not.

HDS2-5454 

HDS2X-7272 (Not Supported)
